About
Our basic Mission is to provide financial, educational and volunteer support to the displaced animals of our area. TAiLS is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization working to improve the lives of the animals of Central Illinois and beyond. TAiLS works with local animal controls and rescues by raising funds for medical and surgical needs, animal care and shelter improvements. Much of our fundraising is done through our non-profit bookstore in Pekin, IL, TAiLS of a Bookworm.

This was so well organized from check in to leaving. Everyone was friendly and informative. The vet and techs were great with my very nervous 8 year old "puppy". I wish they would have had tazewell county licenses as well, but it's just a minor inconvenience compared to the very convenient vaccination time and place. You all did an awesome job!!

The vaccination event at the Creve Couer Fire Station was well thought out and organized with friendly and capable people. My 8 year old "puppy" was very anxious but they were great with her. They gladly read her microchip and wrote it diwn for me so I had her number again. Very good experience for both of us. Keep up the great work!

You did an excellent job considering one of our dogs has a high anxiety level around strangers.
